Kate is a lead dietitian with Alsana and a certified intuitive eating counselor. She is excited to be part of a team that is passionate about recovery and dedicated to finding innovative ways to fight eating disorders.
Seeing clients transform through the recovery process is a privilege that Kate holds close to her heart. When clients go from a place of truly fearing food and being disconnected from their lives, to being able to face their fears and embrace life is the driving force behind the work Kate does.
Kate’s experience includes working in several leading eating disorder treatment facilities throughout the US as a dietitian and director of nutritional services. She was an integral part of the development of specialized treatment for clients suffering from binge eating disorder, and developing a phase system for clients in PHP.
Kate completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition-Dietetics at Winthrop University. She then went on to complete her dietetic internship at The University of Minnesota in affiliation with The Emily Program.
As a recent transplant to California, Kate enjoys spending time on the beautiful beaches and taking in the sunshine. Having grown up on a chrysanthemum farm, she also loves watching HGTV, traveling, and exploring open houses.
