Jennifer received her master’s degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. She has worked in eating disorder recovery since 2006 at treatment centers and private practice. Jennifer has been a volunteer board member for iaedp Los Angeles, encouraging membership and certification for individuals who specialize in treating eating disorders.
At Alsana, Jennifer runs skills and process groups as well as individual and family therapy for our Westlake Village residential program. Utilizing an individualized approach, she hopes to inspire clients to make changes that lead toward happiness and better quality of life.
Jennifer values connection with others, mental and physical health, and self-care. Having some background in the admissions department, she recognizes the crisis that leads families to seek treatment. Jennifer has experience in holding support groups for clients with eating disorders and their families, as well as families of those with other mental health diagnoses.
Caring, thorough, and fun are traits that describe Jennifer well. When she’s not at Alsana, she can be found spending time with her husband and children, going to the beach, doing yoga, snowboarding, paddle boarding, watching sports or live music, and listening to the Beatles or country music.
