As program director of Alsana Spero, Joshua oversees the direct care staff working with the clients, along with the Spero facility and client apartments. Josh double majored in psychology and religion in his undergraduate studies, and then went on to Fuller Theological Seminary for master’s degrees in both marital and family therapy, as well as recovery ministry.
Joshua is an associate of marriage and family therapy. Prior to starting at Alsana, he spent three years in community mental health working with at-risk children/adolescents and their families.
Josh is funny, an idealist, a creative thinker, and he has an accent. He aspires to be relentlessly kind and compassionate to other humans and to the earth. He believes that in caring for others we may evolve.
His life goal is to be a present and loving partner and parent. He loves to play outside with his family. Josh, an avid and seasoned coffee connoisseur, has competed in a Latte Art competition!
