Hi there! My name is Kimi Mehl, and I am an Admissions Liaison with Alsana.
We believe that healing happens in relationships. As an Admissions Liaison, I get to support people at the beginning of their relationship with Alsana by providing information and resources to help them make empowered decisions about the next steps in their recovery journey.
My team and I communicate with hundreds of people who are either struggling with an eating disorder themselves or concerned about a loved one who is. I find it fulfilling and inspiring when our clients can turn their hunger into hope.
I was drawn to Alsana because I admire their authenticity and Guiding Principles. Alsana allows people to Let their Light Shine and encourages Servant Leadership – two things that not only align with my core values but enable me to be my best and to do my best work in service to others.
I studied Biology and Psychology at Cal Lutheran and was part of their Honors Society of Biology, but I always had a big heart for the mental health field.
In my free time, I like to practice any joyful movement -whether it’s dancing, swimming, or taking a long walk. I also have a soft spot for animals, so I sometimes volunteer at a kitty shelter, finding them forever homes.
I am the most passionate about helping people be their most authentic selves and connecting them with people who can support them in their recovery. I am truly humbled and honored to work with such a compassionate team, and I love learning from them every day.
We are an eating recovery community, and I am so happy you found us.
