As a registered dietitian, Kristin loves to get to know each client’s personal story and individual personality. She enjoys being witness to her clients’ change throughout the treatment process—especially the change in their relationship with food.
Prior to starting at Alsana, Kristin worked as the director of nutrition services and a registered dietitian at an eating disorder PHP/IOP facility. She also worked as a nutritionist for the Women, Infant, and Child (WIC) program.
Kristin earned her bachelor’s degree in human nutrition, food, and exercise with a dietetics concentration from Virginia Tech. She completed her dietetic internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and is ServSafe certified.
After working as an outdoor adventure camp counselor, Rebecca can carve spoons out of wood and start friction fires. In addition to her love for nature, she is an avid reader and currently holds seven library cards.
