As a lead dietitian of outpatient services with Alsana, Rachael loves watching clients acknowledge their progress and see the reality that recovery is possible. She believes Alsana’s adaptive care model is what makes the company unique, but the compassion and dedication of the team is what makes it memorable.
Rachael is passionate about helping clients with all eating disorders develop and maintain a healthy and enjoyable relationship with food, exercise, and their body. She co-facilitates eating disorder groups, challenges clients on restaurant exposures, and assists clients in planning and preparing meals that will meet their individual needs. Working at Alsana has played a significant role in how Rachael has grown and developed both personally and professionally.
Previously, Rachael worked for a medical company that specialized in the home care and education of tube-fed patients. She is also a registered and licensed dietician. Rachael graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and went on to complete her dietetic internship at Missouri State University. She is currently working toward becoming a certified eating disorder registered dietitian, and is a member of IAEDP and The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Rachael has two dogs and enjoys biking and hiking around St. Louis. She was a musical theater child and loves seeing shows at The Fox Theatre. Her happy place is the Missouri Botanical Garden and she can’t wait to have a garden of her own.
