Back-to-School Blueprint: A Four-Week Intensive
Returning to school during recovery can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Relapse Prevention Support.
Alsana’s Back-to-School Blueprint creates a thoughtful bridge between treatment and the classroom, supporting recovery alongside real-life routines, relationships, and responsibilities.
Designed for adolescents and young adults preparing for or returning to the school environment, this four-week intensive helps clients build practical tools and emotional resilience in real time. Each week focuses on a core aspect of the school experience, guiding clients toward greater confidence, structure, and support as they step back into daily life.
Available in-person in California and Alabama, as well as virtually in 40+ states, the program offers:
– Structured, four-week programming
– Daily therapeutic support
– Family and support system involvement

When Recovery Meets Real Life.
The transition back to school is more than a schedule change: It’s a return to environments filled with social dynamics, academic pressures, and daily structure. For individuals in recovery, this moment can bring both excitement and uncertainty.
Back-to-School Blueprint is designed to ease that transition. Rather than expecting recovery to adapt to school, this program helps clients integrate recovery into the rhythms of everyday life—so support doesn’t stop when the school day begins.
With Soul Hearted care and intentional structure, clients build the skills, confidence, and support systems needed to navigate school while continuing to heal.
What a Day Looks Like.
Each day is designed to mirror the structure of a school day while providing consistent therapeutic support. Clients begin with Morning Announcements to orient to the day, followed by a Daily Check-In to identify goals, needs, and areas of support.
A typical day includes:
- Meal support
- Group therapy sessions
- Skills-based programming
- Nutrition support
- Structured breaks
The day closes with a Daily Wrap-Up, including reflection, emotional check-out, and preparation for the next day.
Additionally, this four-week intensive includes:
- One Meal Process Group daily
- Two to three Supportive Other Groups per week, inviting family or key supports into the recovery process.
