Navigating Back-to-School Stress in Recovery
This focused program gives adolescents the tools, structure, and support they need to prepare for the school year. By building skills and reinforcing recovery practices now, they can step into the semester feeling more prepared.

Back-to-School Stressors That Can Challenge Recovery
- Pressure to look a certain way when returning to a familiar environment
- Increased body comparison among peers
- Shifts in routine and structure that can disrupt recovery practices
- Anxiety about performance, fitting in, or changes in academic expectations
- Reentry into social settings where food and appearance are often discussed
- Heightened emotions around transitions, including separation from family or home supports
- Exposure to triggering comments from classmates, teachers, or even friends
These stressors can heighten vulnerability for adolescents in recovery. Alsana’s Four-Week Back-to-School Intensive is designed to help clients recognize and manage these challenges while staying grounded in recovery. Enrollment is open now! Contact us to learn more.
