Mehgan Lambert, APCC

Utilization Review Specialist | she/her/hers

    Mehgan is a utilization review specialist with Alsana who values working collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure quality of care and advocate for insurance coverage. Mehgan has worked with a variety of populations in mental and behavioral health for 6 years.

    Prior to joining Alsana, Mehgan worked as an assistant supervisor at a short term, residential, therapeutic program and helped open a new cottage to serve troubled youth ages 9-12. She also spent time working at an acute mental health rehabilitation facility specifically with client’s diagnosed with Schizophrenia and other serious mental illnesses, as well as working in Arizona as a behavioral health tech on both adolescent and adult units for acute psychiatric stabilization, detox and withdraw.

    Mehgan earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master’s of Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She is currently working on her second Master’s degree in Nursing at Columbia University in hopes to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner.

    Mehgan lives in southern California with her boyfriend Chris and their 3 dogs, Bosa, Chief and Ella. She dedicates free time to studying, and training Bosa and Chief to work as therapy dogs in the community. Mehgan enjoys watching football, coaching high school girls volleyball and traveling with Chris.
